We are so happy our little Evan is walking at 14 months old! Evan has always done things at his pace and wasn't in any hurry to sit up, craw or walk. I love seeing more of his personality come out as he grows. Here are a few:
*He loves to cuddle and dance. Anytime music comes on your sure to see Evan swaying back and forth or even rocking his head up and down.
*He can say " mama, dadda, one.two,three.go, love you, & night night".
*Unlike most kids, Evan does not care for being in the water.
*Evan was born 4 weeks early and weighed 7pounds 10 ounces. He and Marcus, who are 1 year apart, started wearing the same size clothes at 6 months of age. He will probably be our biggest boy!
*He LOVES to eat~ His few favorite are oatmeal, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches & chicken nuggets. He loves all fruits & yogurt too. He will eat any veggie with sprinkled cheese on it!
*Evan loves to be held & to cuddle.
*Lucky, Evan goes to sleep early & wakes up LAST!
*He only has 9 teeth.
I am loving seeing him and Marcus walking with each other and playing. Best buds those too. We waited to find out the gender till Evan was born and God knew what he was doing giving us Evan. Boy, was I excited when Evan opened his eyes for the first time and I saw he had his daddy's blue eyes!!! Iam so grateful Evan and blessed to be his mommy.
When Evan smiles it is contagious. You can not help but love his smile & laugh.

End of 2015 School Year for Zach & Mollie
Mollie & Zachary had many end of school year activities as usual! Mollie graduated from Kindergarten and Zachary finished 2nd grade!
At Mollie's end of school year parent teacher conference, her teacher said she just loved and enjoyed having Mollie's in her class so much! She learns like her daddy!! It takes her a minute to start on any paper work; she doesn't just jump in on questions and rushes through it. Mollie takes her time. Before evening starting she has to check out the whole page top to bottom and then starts on questions. She knows more than she acts like she does. Mollie is very smart and observant!!
Zachary was award the HARDEST worker in the class and BEST at Math. Each of the students in the class wrote a letter to one another and almost all of them wrote how FAST Zach is~! Zachary's teacher was THE BEST! I wish she as his teacher every year!!! Zachary started off the year struggling in reading but ended the year on reading level and improving every day! Zach was asked what he wants to be when he grows up and he said a SPY!
Next year, Zachary will be a 3rd grader and Mollie will be a 1st grader!!!! Let the summer festives begin~

Daddy's weekend!
While I was on my girls trip, Michael had a full weekend himself!!
Saturday morning, Mollie had a soccer game and then afterwards Michael's mom's side of the family had their annual family reunion in Abilene. Michael did a great job of taking care of kids for the weekend and enjoyed being family as well. I missed seeing everyone very much!
Sunday morning Michael got called out to work! Thankfully his brothers, Daniel & Jeremy are the BEST Uncles EVER and helped us out and watched kiddos.

Girls Trip May 2015
At one time my 3 older sisters, my mom & myself all lived in Midland, TX. I took for granted how easy it was to grab lunch for birthdays or Christmas dinners. Throughout the years, one by one we all moved out of Midland, expect for one, my sister Stacey.
Jamie, my oldest sister now lives in CA and had to work in Houston and took advantage of being in TX and deiced to take a trip to Fort Worth to visit my mom. We all deiced it was the perfect chance to to get to see one another. GIRLS ONLY TRIP! No husbands or kids allowed!! Weekends like these are RARE with having 4 kids at home. Michael being the amazing dad/husband took on the full load of the kids/cleaning/feeding all weekend by myself.
We all made it to my mom's house except for my sister, Courtney. She was missed and talk about how she was missed countless times. The weekend was filled with nothing by laughing, hugging and smiles. I think what I enjoyed the most was seeing the love & joy in my mom's eyes. I know how much to enjoyed seeing her daughters. She had been preparing for weeks maybe months for this weekend. We did a little shopping, watched a movie and ate great food.
We all have the same taste in clothes and all picked out the same shirt & white watch while shopping downtown. It was interesting seeing them do the same weird croaky things that I do too at home. I felt so connected with my sisters and mom.
Stacey and I drove home Sunday and we were able to drive some of the way together. We drove through a TERRIBLE storm. She drove in front and I drove behind her. I could barely see her headlights in front of me due to the heavy rain. It reminded me of when we were kids riding bikes. Stacey wanted to make sure I was closest to the side walk just in case a car got to close to our bikes she would get hurt before me. Once we got to Abilene, we split ways and the sun came out.
I arrived home to a happy family with clean house and dinner ready!
